Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work The Spirit Of Youth by Hugo Robus. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,589.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Robus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Paean' in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,624.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Spirit Of Youth von Hugo Robus zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.589,26) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Robus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Paean' im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.624,09).
