Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shield Screen by Hubert Dalwood was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,164.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hubert Dalwood have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Tree was auctioned for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84).

Die Arbeit Shield Screen von Hubert Dalwood kam im November 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.164,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hubert Dalwood konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Tree für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84) versteigert.
