A top price for Hubert Dalwood - as previously expected
The work Tree by Hubert Dalwood was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tree is the most expensive artwork by Hubert Dalwood that we have observed at auctions so far.
