Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hubert Dalwood was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,697.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hubert Dalwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tree, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hubert Dalwood kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.697,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hubert Dalwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tree beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84) versteigert wurde.
