Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Maquette for Kingsdale School by Hubert Dalwood. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,740.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hubert Dalwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maquette for Kingsdale School von Hubert Dalwood zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.740,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hubert Dalwood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84).
