It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 885.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hubert Cornish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Teignmouth's Garden House on the banks of the Hooghly, Calcutta. in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,813.74).
