The work Chinese Landscape Series: Tattoo No. 4 by Huang Yan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,966.18) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tattoo Series, Plants in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Chinese Landscape Series: Tattoo No. 4 von Huang Yan kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.966,18) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tattoo Series, Plants im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
