Inscribed and signed Huang Ding, duwangke Ding, dedicated to Zhu Shi (1665-1736), with a total of fifteen artist's seals and eight collector's seals
Annotations on opposite leaves inscribed and signed Gao'an Zhu Shi, dated guimao (1723), with a total of sixteen calligrapher's seals

Previously in the collection of Dr. Wan Man-kai (1870-1927), and thence by descent. | Dr. Wan Man-kai, who also used the name Wan Tun-mo, is an important figure in Hong Kong's early hospital system. Originally studying medicine in Tianjin, Dr. Wan graduated in 1889 and returned to Guangzhou to work at the Pok Chai (Boji) Hospital and also ran a clinic with Dr. Sun Yat-sen there during the years 1891-1896. Afterwards he relocated to Hong Kong, where he was first affiliated with the Nethersole Hospital. Dr. Wan was also the founding president of the Hong Kong Chinese Medical Association (HKCMA), the predecessor of the Hong Kong Medical Association.
