The work Secluded Village by Huang Ding was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 100,143.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 3,335,000.00 (€ 316,474.18).

Die Arbeit Secluded Village von Huang Ding wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 100.143,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 3.335.000,00 (€ 316.474,18) versteigert wurde.
