Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Secluded Village by Huang Ding was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 819,000.00 (€ 98,145.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 3,335,000.00 (€ 316,474.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Secluded Village von Huang Ding kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 98.145,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 3.335.000,00 (€ 316.474,18) versteigert wurde.
