Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Young Woman by Hu Yongkai. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 4,011.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Yongkai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Woman von Hu Yongkai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 4.011,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
