In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Princely Gift by Hovsep Pushman. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,233.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hovsep Pushman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissa in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 368,327.89).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Princely Gift von Hovsep Pushman zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.233,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hovsep Pushman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 368.327,89).
