Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction The American Scene including Important Photographs from the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, which included the work The Fleeting Joy by Hovsep Pushman. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,090.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hovsep Pushman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissa in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 368,327.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The American Scene including Important Photographs from the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Fleeting Joy von Hovsep Pushman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.090,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hovsep Pushman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 368.327,89).
