Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Repose (Reclining Nude) by Hovsep Pushman. The price achieved of USD 20,400.00 (€ 19,761.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hovsep Pushman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissa in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 368,327.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Repose (Reclining Nude) von Hovsep Pushman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 19.761,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hovsep Pushman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 368.327,89).
