This artwork by Hosoda Eishi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2007. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Hanaogi of the Ogiya sold for USD 3,840.00 (€ 2,871.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hosoda Eishi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hosoda Eishi (1756-1829) sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of USD 5,400.00 (€ 4,037.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hosoda Eishi erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art wurde die Arbeit Hanaogi of the Ogiya für USD 3.840,00 (€ 2.871,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hosoda Eishi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hosoda Eishi (1756-1829) im März 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.400,00 (€ 4.037,69).
