Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady With Lotus Leaf by Hong Viet Dung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,922.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Viet Dung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hong Viet Dung | Landscape with Figure, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 138,600.00 (€ 17,294.43).
