Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Two Works) by Hong Hao was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,670.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Money Front in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 727,500.00 (€ 64,865.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works) von Hong Hao wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.670,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Money Front im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 727.500,00 (€ 64.865,57).
