Sold at the upper estimate price
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work My Things No.6 by Hong Hao. The auction ended at the price of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 10,401.36), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hong Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Money Front in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 727,500.00 (€ 64,865.57).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Things No.6 von Hong Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 10.401,36) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Money Front im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 727.500,00 (€ 64.865,57).
