The work Mr Hong Please Come In by Hong Hao was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,166.72), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Money Front in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 727,500.00 (€ 64,865.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mr Hong Please Come In von Hong Hao wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.166,72) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Money Front im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 727.500,00 (€ 64.865,57).
