Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 556,066,792,000 by Hong Hao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,577.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hong Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Money Front in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 727,500.00 (€ 64,865.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 556,066,792,000 von Hong Hao kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.577,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Money Front im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 727.500,00 (€ 64.865,57).
