The work Universe by Hon Chew Hee was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,901.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hon Chew Hee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Weaving Shop, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 75,567.77).

Die Arbeit Universe von Hon Chew Hee kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.901,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hon Chew Hee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Weaving Shop beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 75.567,77) versteigert wurde.
