Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Koolau Mountain (Painted In Approximately 1960S) by Hon Chew Hee was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 49,017.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Hon Chew Hee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Weaving Shop was auctioned for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 75,567.77).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 49.017,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
