Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Popping Pills, N.Y., 1972 by Hiro was auctioned at Christies in New York in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,783.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon' in April last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 59,789.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Popping Pills, N.Y., 1972 von Hiro kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.783,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon' im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 59.789,31).
