Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mick Jagger by Hiro was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2017. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,457.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Hiro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon' in April last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 59,789.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mick Jagger von Hiro wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.457,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A.
