In April 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, Part 2, which included the work Apollo 11, 9:32 AM, 7-16-69, Maiden Voyage to the Moon by Hiro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,798.99), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon', which sold at auction in April last year for USD 63,000.00 (€ 59,789.31).

Im April 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, Part 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apollo 11, 9:32 AM, 7-16-69, Maiden Voyage to the Moon von Hiro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.798,99) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon' beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 63.000,00 (€ 59.789,31) versteigert wurde.
