Solley auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,400.00 (€ 8,616.78), 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hiro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A. M. 7-16-69 Maiden Voyage To The Moon' in April last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 59,789.31).

Solley bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.400,00 (€ 8.616,78) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Apollo - 11, 9:32 A.
