In November this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction European Art Online | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Soleil Couchant Près Vernon framed 54.0 x 72.0 x 6.5 cm (21 1/4 x 28 3/8 x 2 9/16 in). by Hippolyte Camille Delpy. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,112.21), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work July in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion European Art Online | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Soleil Couchant Près Vernon framed 54.0 x 72.0 x 6.5 cm (21 1/4 x 28 3/8 x 2 9/16 in). von Hippolyte Camille Delpy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.112,21) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Camille Delpy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit July im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.530,87).
