Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Soleil Couchant À Portejoie by Hippolyte Camille Delpy. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,473.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work July was auctioned for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Soleil Couchant À Portejoie von Hippolyte Camille Delpy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.473,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
