However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work July, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).

Die Arbeit Le champ de coquelicot von Hippolyte Camille Delpy wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.567,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Camille Delpy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit July beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.530,87) versteigert wurde.
