Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work A River Landscape by Hippolyte Camille Delpy for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,450.76). This price was achieved in the auction European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work July in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A River Landscape von Hippolyte Camille Delpy für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.450,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Camille Delpy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit July im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.530,87).
