Despite a disappointment, a good price for Hippolyte Camille Delpy
This work of art by Hippolyte Camille Delpy could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work July changed hands for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, July is the most expensive artwork by Hippolyte Camille Delpy that we have observed at auction so far.
