Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny, which included the work Bateau Sur L'Oise by Hippolyte Camille Delpy. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,309.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work July in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bateau Sur L'Oise von Hippolyte Camille Delpy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.309,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hippolyte Camille Delpy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit July im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.530,87).
