Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work A Washerwoman On The Banks Of A River At Dusk by Hippolyte Camille Delpy for GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,386.12). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hippolyte Camille Delpy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work July in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,530.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Washerwoman On The Banks Of A River At Dusk von Hippolyte Camille Delpy für GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.386,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hippolyte Camille Delpy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit July im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.530,87).
