Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giving Instructions by Hermanus Willem Koekkoek was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2005. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermanus Willem Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hussars in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giving Instructions von Hermanus Willem Koekkoek kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermanus Willem Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hussars im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
