Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Herbert Brandl. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,750.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert Brandl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre - 2006 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 98,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Herbert Brandl zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Brandl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre - 2006 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 98.400,00.
