Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work Sans titre by Herbert Brandl. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 23,940.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Herbert Brandl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre - 2006 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 98,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Herbert Brandl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 23.940,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Brandl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre - 2006 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 98.400,00.
