Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry Taylor could be acquired at Christies in New York in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Louise Was My Cousin changed hands for USD 55,000.00 (€ 56,219.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I'Ll Put A Spell On You in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 975,000.00 (€ 861,079.22).
