In November this year Christies in New York held the auction 21st Century Evening Sale, which included the work "Batman" Part Alien by Henry Taylor. The »bidding war« ended at USD 819,000.00 (€ 750,825.08), 64% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Taylor; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot I'Ll Put A Spell On You sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of USD 975,000.00 (€ 861,079.22).
