Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Scott Tuke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer Morning in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 270,650.00 (€ 395,140.46).

Die Arbeit Falmouth Harbour from St. Just-in-Roseland von Henry Scott Tuke kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.906,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Scott Tuke erzielen.
