Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper, which included the work The Poet In The Flames of First Love by Henry John Stock. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,702.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry John Stock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 79,311.79).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 79.311,79).
