In the The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House auction, the work Portrait of Captain Hoste of H.M.S. Amphion, small full-length, his sword in his left hand, standing on the foreshore by an anchor sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,228.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Edridge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).
