Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Thomas Hearne (1744-1817) by Henry Edridge was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,477.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Edridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.477,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
