Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Sir Southerton Branthwayt Peckham Mickelthwaite, Bt., small full-length, standing by a pillar, in the uniform of the 3rd Dragoon Guards, his country house beyond by Henry Edridge was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 812.50 (€ 919.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Edridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Sir Southerton Branthwayt Peckham Mickelthwaite, Bt., small full-length, standing by a pillar, in the uniform of the 3rd Dragoon Guards, his country house beyond von Henry Edridge kam im März 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
