Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a young gentleman, full-length, holding a top hat, his left arm resting on a pedestal by Henry Edridge was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,079.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Edridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a young gentleman, full-length, holding a top hat, his left arm resting on a pedestal von Henry Edridge kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
