It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,681.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henryk Siemiradzki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parnassus in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 760,179.15).
