The work At the Fountain by Henryk Siemiradzki was sold in the European Art auction at Christies in New York in June 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 375,000.00 (€ 333,897.25), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henryk Siemiradzki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parnassus, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 680,500.00 (€ 760,179.15).

Die Arbeit At the Fountain von Henryk Siemiradzki wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 333.897,25) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Henryk Siemiradzki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parnassus beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 680.500,00 (€ 760.179,15) versteigert wurde.
