Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl On A Swing by Henryk Siemiradzki was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 47,528.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henryk Siemiradzki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parnassus in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 760,179.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Girl On A Swing von Henryk Siemiradzki kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 47.528,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henryk Siemiradzki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parnassus im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.500,00 (€ 760.179,15).
