Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, which included the work By The Spring by Henryk Siemiradzki. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 30,553.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henryk Siemiradzki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parnassus in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 760,179.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov durch, in der auch die Arbeit By The Spring von Henryk Siemiradzki zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 30.553,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henryk Siemiradzki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parnassus im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.500,00 (€ 760.179,15).
