Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A shepherdess with her flock by Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen for EUR 5,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorting the catch on the beach of Scheveningen in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 169,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A shepherdess with her flock von Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen für EUR 5.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorting the catch on the beach of Scheveningen im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.950,00.
