Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Forest View With Figures By A Stream by Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2006. The price achieved of EUR 16,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorting the catch on the beach of Scheveningen in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 169,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Forest View With Figures By A Stream von Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen kam im Oktober 2006 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorting the catch on the beach of Scheveningen im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.950,00.
